Specialty Wood Products, Inc. opened its doors in Colorado in 1989. For over 20 years we have been providing building materials to clients who value a quality product, quality service and a trustworthy supplier. While Cedar and Redwood are our specialties, we stock a variety of products from all over the world and for all types of projects. Whether it is a “raw” stock of high end material, or custom milling and pre-staining, Specialty Wood Products, Inc. is the first and last supplier that you will need to contact.

Over the past 20 years we have seen a tremendous amount of growth due to the valuable customers that we serve. In 2003 we expanded into a new “custom built” warehouse in Aurora, Colorado to keep up with that growth. Fortunately we continued with our growth trend, and quickly outgrew that location. Then in 2007, we once again opened our second “custom built” warehouse.

• Expansion into Utah: In 2006, Specialty Wood Products, Inc. expanded its operations and opened a satellite office in Salt Lake City, UT. The resort communities around the Park City area are now able to benefit from the beauty of our wood.
• Expansion into South Carolina: On June 1st, 2007, we once again expanded our operations and opened another Lumber Yard in Greenville, South Carolina. This expansion has positioned Specialty Wood Products, Inc. to be a major player in the "resort style" building currently booming in the Southeastern portion of the United States.

Specialty Wood Products is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tumac Lumber Company . With their help, we have been able to expand into a new warehouse and continue to grow our business year after year.

Tumac Lumber Company, Inc. was established in 1959 by Paul McCracken and Bill MacPherson. Originally focused on wholesaling industrial lumber, the company expanded into international markets early on. Today, Tumac is an employee-owned, private corporation that specializes in providing reliable, competitively priced, high-quality products for a broad range of applications.
